Dr. Colin O'Brien PT, DPT, CMTPT, Herdman Vestibular Competency
Colin has dedicated his career to educating patients and clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. He teaches both continuing education classes for clinicians and community education events.
Colin has participated in numerous continuing education courses including advanced manual therapy techniques for the spine, treatment of TMJ disorders and advanced balance and dizziness training. In 2013 he completed his certification in intramuscular dry needling. Colin has had the opportunity to study at the James Andrews Sports Medicine Institute of Birmingham AL working with athletes from high school to the professional ranks. He also established his specialty in Vestibular Rehab while at the Geisinger Vestibular and Balance Center of Danville PA.
Colin has successfully completed the Herdman Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation as well as taken advanced courses taught by leaders in the field including: (Not a sign of endorsement)

Colin attempts to empower his patients through education on their condition and the course of therapy allowing a collaborative approach to get you back to where you want to be and provide you the tools to stay that way. VESTIBULAR EDUCATION
Dizziness is one of the most commonly mis-diagnosed symptoms in medicine. Few clinicians have all the tools needed to properly assess all aspects of dizziness. With our classes we attempt to bridge that gap and give you the tools to successfully diagnose and treat dizziness conditions. We also aim to educate patients to be proper advocates for themselves.
MILWAUKEE BALANCE AND DIZZINESS SUPPORT GROUP
The Milwaukee Balance and Support Group was started by Colin in 2016 as a way to provide an outlet for patients and caregivers alike the support and education needed to deal with their conditions.
